On November 10th, the 2018 Annual Forum on the Significance of Zhang Qian's Spirit, hosted by the Central Institute of Socialism, was held in Nantong, the hometown of Zhang Qian. More than 20 well-known experts, scholars and private entrepreneurs have discussed the historical contributions in the modern transition period of China made by Zhang Qian from the perspective of economy and society, and jointly studied on the spread of Chinese entrepreneurial spirit and Chinese entrepreneurship in the new era. Zhou Haijiang, the vice president of the China Chamber of Commerce and the chairman and CEO of HOdo Group, attended the conference and made a keynote speech entitled “Capture the three spirits of Zhang Qian and promote business and industry in the new era”.

Zhou Haijiang believes that Zhang Qian, as a representative of China's modern industry, has the spirit of persisting in industry, the spirit of courage and the spirit of embracing the times, which are still worthy of learning and carrying forward in the new era. He also called on entrepreneurs to uphold Zhang Qian’s idea of ??"the person who operate a county should have a provincial vision; the person who operate a province should have a vision of a managing a country; the person who operate a country should have a worldwide vision", and to push the real economy into the golden age!
