The year 2018 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia.

Pragmatic cooperation is expanded and strengthened through cooperation mechanisms like China’s Belt and Road Initiative. For example, the Sihanoukville Special Economy Zone (SSEZ), lead-managed by HOdo, is one of the first eight overseas economic and trade cooperative zones, approved by the Ministry of commerce of China.

Cao Jianjiang, General Manager of the zone, said that SSEZ stands as a symbol of renewed China-Cambodia friendship by delivering real benefits to the people.
